KYRIE MUCH LOVE!

Kyrie Irving will always have a special place in my heart.

Likely the best most mesmerizing ball handler I've known. The strong propensity to finish @ the rim.
I am a fan of the "Uncle Drew ", commercials....
The biggest reason I will always love and appreciate the man is he made the shot!! MR. CLUTCH!!

YES THE SHOT!
You see I am from Cleveland,Ohio and as a sports fan that entails years of near misses and misery.
The Cardiac kid Browns of the 80's fun team didn't win the big one.
The Bernie Kosar Browns were the Buffalo Bills of the AFC Championship games of the late 80's.
The 90's Cleveland Indians were the most fun team in our history. 0 for two in the World Series.
The Cleveland Cavs, drafted Akron's own Lebron James who "lit the league up like Vegas," took a cast of muck to the NBA Finals, then left us for The Miami Heat years later. (please look at that 2007 Cavs roster yuck!}
Believe it or not I could continue....
Then Lebron returned from Miami, carried us with much more help to 3 straight years of The Nba Finals winning one. {Praise the Lord)
Kyrie Irving is one of the greatest clutch scorers of our current era. Irving with 53 seconds left in the 2016 finals, made the game winning shot that won the Cavs and the city of Cleveland our 1st Championship in 50 years.
Now as you have likely heard Irving requested a trade and has been shipped to to The Boston Celtics.
 When he returns to play us on October 17th I will not burn a jersey, I will not boo him, instead I will stand in appreciation for the man who was an important component to us winning our long awaited title.
One final thing, as I mentioned in a previous sports post on this blog, we need young players on the Cavs so his request for a trade has push our organization forward, we were compensated handsomely
for Irving who has helped with our future endeavors by requesting the trade.
So, here's to Kyrie a legendary figure in our Cleveland sports landscape good luck with the Celtics, except against us.

  1. Magnanimity is good everywhere, except in sports! If you don't play for our team, it's middle fingers up 4 life!
