POEM 5
MUSIC
I play because I'm happy, I play because I'm free
life is not a game but when I play I'm worry free
my dialect is music the air I breathe is a life line
music= life which lasts multiple life times.
without music I'd subsist yet I choose to exist
in a realistic truth the soundtrack of my life
the soundtrack of conquest the soundtrack of strife.
real music can't be found on radio dials,
too many auto tune machines, too many acts
no artists too much coon music sexually explicit
I got guns, drugs, doom music.
I rep old school soul school musicianship.
it requires patience study apprenticeship
when I play strangers aren't strange anymore.
If the eyes are the window to the soul music is the door.
with each note I play I can see my ancestors smile,
knowing that their sacrifices were exponentially worthwhile.

uncle toms
We all hate somethings in life....
We all love somethings.......
Today I want to talk about hatred!
Many call them pet peeves.
I have a visceral hatred for all UNCLE TOMS!
Stacey Dash is an uncle tom. An uncle tom is a black person who is exceedingly great at being servile and deferential to white people. When you state that you ONLY want to have babies by white men your an uncle tom. I am not knocking interracial relationships, however the statement itself leans toward the servitude of white people and believing whites are superior. Keep in mind there was a march in Charlottesville not long ago with white hate groups who believe they are superior.
The same women stated there is no need for Black History Month.
Her latest act of uncle tommetry is exacted to African American treasure Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
Maxine Waters has been a public servant for 37 years. She has championed the cause of poor people and has been a voice for the voiceless. I am amazed at the ability of people to project and accuse other people of being what they happen to be.
She called Maxine Waters a "media buffoon." The girl from clueless {which at this point is an autobiography} is coming for an icon in the arena of public service.
Media Buffoon is one who make erroneous statements to get attention. A media buffoon sells out to work at a belligerently racist organization like Fox News. Her cousin Dame Dash an entertainment mogul (paid in Full' is one of my favorite movies) believes she was paid by Fox to stir up controversy. Mr. Dash stated "she's my cousin and I love her, I don't like the Dash name linked to cooning'.
Stacey Dash is a white dick hopping oreo, who the white establishment uses her back to keep their feet warm.
Uncle Toms like Dash spit in the face of the accomplishments of the Civil Rights movement.
Blacks have too long and too tumultuous of an American history for it to be trivialized by Stacey Dashes, Ben Carsons Micheal Jordans, etc..
While I don't agree with the blacks who wish she'd "catch cancer twice and die once", I do wish that for the mindset of the coon, sellout and the uncle Tom.

Your back's against the wall and you gotta compete.
if you don't work you not gon' eat.
Life and fair are both strangers they not gon' meet.
Karma and destiny are married and they not gon' cheat.
I'm trying to fix the fixation for procrastination, self-
destruction lack of production.
Too much greatness you exude to walk around with a
victim's attitude, defeatist attitude, lazy,
the audacity to be rude... it's incumbent on
us to make you better! Get better not not bitter
because bitter is batter for problems in life out
you can't figure; so you eat the pancakes of
past mistakes.
Too many people in trouble due to untamed rancor
better not bitter should've been their anchor.
Bitter needs crutches better stands alone.
Excuses, jealously, complacently better can't
condone.
In every section of our lives we need a better movement
because better equals the relentless pursuit of improvement.

my reparations are centuries past due
i need to be reimbursed man.
the man wondering why when i
walk by that lady clutches her purse man,

majority yet considered a minority

of an ongoing worldwide assassination attempt,

stolen land, WE STILL STAND! THE BLACK MAN.

30 for 30 love
I am a huge fan of the sports documentary titled "30 for 30" on ESPN.
For those who don't know it is a group of documentaries that chronicles different, unique, special, memorable moments and people in sports history.
30 directors exploring 30 different topics. The research is concise, the reporting is thorough, they conduct fearless story telling at it's finest.
The story of 'The Fab Five", is my absolute favorite 30 for 30 documentary. The 5 talented freshmen who went to the University of Michigan went to the NCAA Championship twice.
The bigger deal is the life experiences that they gained along the way, trials and tribulations they overcame as a team and personally. (See the Chris Webber time out)
30 for 30 documentaries go very in depth and are well written and produced.
I know the the hearty sports fans know what I'm talking about.
My top five 30 for 30 documentaries are as follows:
1. The fab 5- The coming of age of 5 talented freshmen who changed the world of college basketball forever.
2. You don't know Bo- The greatest two sports star of all time and the unfortunate ending to his career.
3. Survive and advance- The NC State Wolfpack National Championship of college basketball and their tear jerking account of their run to the title. (not to mention Jimmy Valvano)
4. Believeland- The tumultuous struggle of a city thirsty for a World Championship and the eventual quenching of that thirst with a Cleveland Cavaliers championship win.
5. The U part I- One of the most fun 30 for 30 docs, the dominant college football program of the late 80's early 90's absolutely invented swagger. The Miami University Hurricanes

poem 2/ lonely
I am drowning in state of relinquishing self worth, as if the company of friendly faces would quench my anxieties' thirst.
Longing for hands to touch, lips to kiss, ears to listen, eyes to pay attention.
The memories of lovers in my past seems like mirages and aparitions. A KING, wearing a crown of
pity, seated on a throne of misery, in a castle deleted of happiness and ecstasy, to one next to me, who expects to be lonely, only me.

is Mike Tyson overrated?
There are certain athletes who are beloved....
Micheal Jordan, Lebron James. Tom Brady. Serena Williams, etc..,.
MIKE TYSON is definitely a beloved athlete, especially in my city of Cleveland Ohio.
People remember the power, intimidation, the spectacle a Tyson fight entailed. The menacing stare, the ripped towel, ripped torso,of course the knock out power that Tyson possessed.
Tyson evoked fear in fighters, the audience and Mitch Greens' eye.
Mike Tyson is overrated to me he knocked out average to below average fighters in a spectacular way. Other than the impressive 90 second beat down of Micheal Spinks, where was his signature win?
He fought a "flabby and sick" Larry Holmes. {rip 2pac}
Who is the elite boxer Tyson beat?

Tyson while being the youngest heavyweight ever, folded in every fight he was challenged in.
Evader Holifield stopped him in fight 1 then the infamous fight where Tyson bit his ear and fouled out. Lennox Lewis handled him easily and Buster Douglass had the night of his life at Tyson's expense.
I do believe he should be in the boxing Hall of Fame, the youngest heavyweight champ ever and brought an incredible amount of entertainment and excitement to the sport.
When you think of the all-time greats in the heavyweight division Joe Louis. of course Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Dempsy, Jack Johnson, Ken Norton, Floyd Patterson, Marciano, Holifield, Lennox Lewis Larry Holmes, and others: where would you put Mike?
Top ten ? I'm not sure I would.

1st Sports postings....State of Cleveland sports and was Mike Tyson overrated?
With my new blog there will be 3 primary topics: Current events, Sports, and poetry.
Feel free to chime in with your opinion about my sports topics especially my polls and surveys.
I am of the opinion that we are experiencing a uniquely successful era in Cleveland sports.
first of all, we have had our pitfalls in the Cleveland sports landscape, which are well documented.
(yall know the drive, the fumble, etc...) The Cleveland Cavaliers have gone to 3 straight titles games winning one championship. THE INDIANS WERE UP 3-1 IN THE WORLD SERIES.
but lost. Painful but i really wonder how many C-town sports fans could imagine how much fun 2 parades in one year would've been.
The tribe is currently in 1st place and has one of the best pitching staffs in baseball. They also have a manager eventually going to The Hall of Fame, Terry Francona.
No matter the seed the Cavs with Lebron would easily be the odds on favorites to win the East again.
I love Kyrie, the shot he made against Golden State will live in perpetuity in my heart. Although he demanded a trade, Irving is by far our best asset to trade.I don't want Kyrie to go but we need younger players on our team and draft picks. The average age of the Cavs is 29.2 years old but going to the NBA Championship 3 consecutive years puts the team close to 300 games played in that time frame. ( give or take)
Even with the Browns' futility who have garnered the nickname referenced to our stadium "The factory of sadness", we are reaping a harvest of success in our other two major sports and we have an MMA Heavyweight Champ Stipe Miocic.
The spector of Lebron leaving looms over the city but I couldn't see him leaving to anywhere if we win the championship. (sometimes I sing alone with that sentiment)
When you look at the trials and tribulations of Cleveland sports fans I am certainly enjoying the ride it wont last forever.

Much peace and love to all those who follow my new blog. I will resend my last poem "The Lick", There were a couple minor errors and I want to make the poem easier to follow.

Big time, money got, jack pot type of funds, high class huns, on sleeve fancy weave.
Superficial, gun packin, 'funny actin, drug abusin', expensive boosin', thousands of dollars on the dice money losin'.
Dreams peaking,, still creepin when i rest one eye peaking uh oh snitch leaking, GAME OVER.
If the wages of sins is death we are stock brokers of Iniquity. mamas' life lessons didn't stick with me. The devil's prescence equals ubiquity. by my side thick chick with me who wouldn't be around if i wasn't an opulent entity. Misogynist asshole living at that brass pole living for today lacking long term goals. I tried to live for Christ wonder was it meant to be?. Am I too selfish to accept the gift of salvation he gave me. Has success made me a SLAVE? IS SUCCESS really success with one foot in the grave? Access to excess made life a strenuous process. Livin in the valley of death with demons angry minions tug of war with my soul @ stake who has dominion? We make it rain per what we lack in integrity, make it rain my soul deprived of moral equity.Livin scandalous, raunchy, bad decisions haunt me. he comes to kill, steal, taunt me. use me up make me feel great but don't want me....

Charlottesville, VA
I am shocked and sadden from watching what looks like a KKK rally in Charlottesville, VA. On second thought I shouldn't be shocked because our sitting president has had campaign rally what resembles what we are seeing in Charlottesville, We have a president with no obligation to truth, who is guilty of sedition, collusion, and espionage. A man who a appears to be bigoted, sexist and immensely incapable of governing our country. The violence we are witnessing in Charlottesville is only the tip of the iceberg. I pray to god for mercy and grace in one of the most tumultuous time in our countries history.
