weekend picks/ commentary

MY PICKS SUCKED LAST WEEK

Georgia Bulldogs and Oakland Raiders stopped me from being shutout.
{2 of 6 on my picks}

The Buckeyes have a bad habit of not running the ball and changing who they are in big games. When we won the championship with Tressell we had a running back named Maurice Clarrett. When we did it with Meyer the running back was Ezekiel Elliott. We have two studs in the backfield who didn't get enough touches in the game vs. Oklahoma. {Webber and Dobbins}
We lost a game to MICHIGAN STATE IN 2015, we didn't give Zeke the ball.
Now we must run the table with an inaccurate QB, new offensive coordinator and as I mentioned no alpha dog @ wide receiver.  (I reluctantly picked The Buckeyes last week.}

We will hop back on that horse shortly, my 3 college and 3 Pro picks on the way

1st a few quick sports shout outs:

Shout out to Jemelle Hill, The Cleveland Indians, Terry Francona, Tom Hamilton, Canelo Alvarez and Triple G, Colin Kapernick, Deshawn Watson, The whole MMA, Lamar Jackson, The whole NFL, Sloan Stephens, Terrance Crawford, Keith Thurman and Andre Ward.

BIG 3 PICKS COLLEGE AND PRO

CFL: Clemson vs Louisville$$

Tough one to pick, I just believe in the best player in this game Lamar Jackson. He is a right handed Micheal Vick, I like the trio of junior receivers he throws to. Jaylen Smith has over 300 yards as a receiver in the 1st two games. The Clemson Tigers have a strong D-line, I love Dabo Swinny but the defending champs will have a tough time keeping up with a motivated reigning Heisman winner @ home.

$$Tennessee vs. Florida

Florida has too many missing parts and an inept Offense The Vols pull this one out.

Kansas State vs Vanderbilt $$

Coach Mason's defense will surprise people this year, I'm going with Vandy @ home.

NFL:    $$New England vs. New Orleans
            Simply hard to visualize an 0-2 New England, the pats will miss Edleman as the year goes on.
             Curious to see if Peterson keeps getting underutilized by the Saints.

               Vikings Vs. Steelers$$
                 I'm thinking we will see a different Leveon Bell in week 2. I also think we won't see the same Sam Bradford against a tougher defense. Steelers in a close one.

                  $$Dallas Cowboys vs. Denver
I believe the best Offensive line in football will continue to prevail with Ezekiel Elliott in the line up.
Dak Prescott is a bit underrated as a quarterback he does a great job of managing the game while taking appropriate risks. Cowboys win

                                               CANELO ALVAREZ VS GENADY GOLOVKIN

I am picking Golovkin in a blood bath. The first 5 rounds will look like Hagler vs. Hearns.
(please google}
When they tire in the middle rounds to late rounds I believe Triple G will catch him with a one "hitter quitter" and knock him out.
Golovkin wins in a 9th round KO.
